Welcome to the 808shows Friend Club!

The idea is simple... it's not cheap or easy to bring bands out to Hawaii.

Maybe you can’t make it to some shows but you still want to support the scene and
reduce risk/increase the number of visiting bands? Lend a hand this way.

For every show that gets booked, there's others that get explored but don't work out for one reason or another,
and it often purely comes down to the level of risk. This friend club concept might help eliminate that concern if
enough businesses or individuals get behind the idea. It might also get flatly ignored and go nowhere...
but nothing ventured nothing gained. I'll still do what I can to produce events from time to time regardless.

Sooo... As a can't hurt to try solution...

and did you know that venmo allows you to do recurring "scheduled" payments?
(I wasn't aware until recently)

I have also set up a donation listing on the storenvy site HERE

The idea is to make it possible for people to show support in new ways.

*IF* any money is raised will be used to absorb losses if a show doesn't break-even,
and/or be used to bump up an offer amount (which raises the break-even/risk)
if an event is close to working out, but on the verge of not happening otherwise.

Note: It's JUST help as a kind gesture/donation for now, to build up
some funds that get used as a buffer to more bands flying out.
